WHAT IS FUNCTIONAL FITNESS?
You got out of bed this morning and did your morning routine. Maybe, you walked to the train, or perhaps you drove your car to work…
Then, you sat or stood over your work all day. Perhaps you had a workout or took the stairs instead because you want to be healthy.
Now, what if I told you that your body did all of those movements wrong? We spend so much of our time in repetitive movement and fixed posture at work that our bodies become programmed and limited.
Your body will move from point A to point B throughout your day, but it is not moving ideally.
Functional Fitness is the umbrella of many types of workouts, including deep-dynamic stretching, breathing techniques, strength training and cardio conditioning. Train to Sustain is the method to ageing better because all exercise is not created equal.
